Setting up a trusted location on your Android smartphone comes in handy. Your smartphone will remain unlocked in this location, meaning you don't have to enter a PIN or pattern to unlock it every time you want to use your phone. In this article we will show you how to set up such a trustworthy place.

Note: For these instructions, Smart Lock must be activated on your smartphone .

1st step:

First open the " Smart Lock " option via the security menu in your smartphone settings . From there, tap on " Trusted Places ".

2nd step:

You can now add your " home " if you have already entered it in Google Maps or another location via " Add trustworthy location ".

3rd step:

If you have GPS enabled, you can automatically add where you are. In the lower right, tap the target to jump to your current location. You can also mark any location (pink arrow) by touching the screen . Then go to " Select this location ".

Confirm with " Select ".

5th step:

Confirm the GPS data with " OK ". Your smartphone will now remain unlocked in the previously specified location.

In addition to setting up trustworthy places, Smart Lock also allows you to set up trustworthy devices as well as wearing recognition, voice recognition and face recognition.

  2. Add a " Trusted Place ".
