To protect your PowerPoint presentations, you can insert a watermark. A watermark is usually a transparent lettering on images or documents, with which the content is to be prevented from being copied or further processed without authorization.

How to create a watermark in PowerPoint

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Open the PowerPoint presentation that you want to add a watermark to. Go up to the tab " View " and click in the " Master Views " on " Slide Master ".

Now select all the slide layouts on the left that you want to have a watermark for. If you have used a layout in your presentation that you do not select now, no watermark will appear on the slide with this layout. Then right-click on a slide in the left column and select the entry " Format background ... ".

3rd step:

In " filling ", choose " image or texture fill " and then click the " Insert picture from " on " File ... ". Now select the desired image from your folder.
