Do you need quick and easy instructions to set up Google Hello on the web from your Android phone and Chrome browser? It's super simple, and I'm sure you can do it on your own, but for those who need visual aids, we can help them through this article as well..

Install Allô for the web:

  • Install Google Hello on your Android phone (iOS pairing is not yet supported).
  • Configure the app by confirming your phone number, adding a profile picture and name, choosing a Google account for backups, etc.
  • When finished, slide the side menu in Hello to find the "Hello for the web" option.
  • Tap on the option, and you'll be prompted to open allo.google.com / web on your computer's Chrome browser.
  • You will also be prompted to scan a QR code on this page with your Hello app.
  • Once scanned, you should immediately see Hello logged in on Chrome and ready to chat with your conversations synced from the Android app.
  • And yes, Google Assistant is here! you can integrate it into conversations or you only have your own individual help session with the assistant.
  • Plus, you'll see options in chats for emojis, stickers (and downloadable sticker packs), and attachments. Hello, just like in the app, will also show you quick response recommendations.
  • You have access to some settings that you will find by clicking on your profile picture on the web.
  • You'll also receive desktop notifications, along with message sounds and previews if you allow them.
  • Keyboard shortcuts !
  • Should you delete your Chrome connection? It's easy, just go back to the Hello Android app, slide the browser menu, press "Hello for the web" again, and you'll see all the instances you've connected to. Tap the trash can next to each of them individually to cut that connection. Or you can "Log off from all computers." "
  • And that's all !
