How to ban the hyperlinks automatically generated in Word from your document..

The hyperlink is a helpful text tool when it comes to quickly jumping back and forth between chapters, or with regard to websites / internet sources. Elsewhere, these links can also appear with unformatted text from websites in the Word document or automatically when you press the Enter key after entering an email address. If you do not need Internet links as such, if you want to make copied links disappear and to remove incorrectly placed hyperlinks, we will explain here how you can quickly and easily remove hyperlinks from your document in Word.

Deactivate individual hyperlink

1st step:

Highlight the hyperlink you want to remove in your Word document.

Then right-click and select " Remove link ".

Remove all hyperlinks

1st step:

Start Word and open the document in which you want to remove all hyperlinks. Select the entire text using the cursor or the key combination [Ctrl] + [A] . If you only want to remove the links in a special section of text, mark only this part accordingly.

Then press the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [F9] . Please note, however, that with this procedure all links , including chapter references, will be deleted .
