Recover Steam Account Password

1st step:

Open the login window of the Steam desktop application. Click on " I can't sign in ... ". Alternatively, you can click on " Forgot your password? " At the bottom of the login page on the Steam website . The further procedure is the same.

2nd step:

Select the top option: " I forgot my Steam account name or password ".

3rd step:

Now enter your account name, your linked e-mail address or the stored telephone number. Then click on " Search ".

4th step:

Now enter details about your Steam account to prove that you are indeed the owner of this account. This is only necessary if you have not entered an authenticator .

5th step:

Now select that you want to " change your password ".

6th step:

You can then have a verification code sent to your linked email address or phone number.

7th step:

Now enter the verification code and click on " Next ". Now you can set a new password .

1. Open the Steam login window and click on " I can't log in ... ".
2. In the next step, select " I forgot my Steam account name or password ". Alternatively, you can click on " Forgot your password? " On the login page of the Steam website .
3. Then enter your account name, email address, or linked phone number and hit the " Search " button .
4. You should now be informed that the connected account has been found. Choose whether or not to use the Steam Authenticator. If you are not using it, you will have to authenticate yourself in another way . For example, you can fill out a form, which will then be assessed by Steam Support.
5. After successful authentication, you will be shown the account details. Click " Change Password " and then click " Send an email to [email address] with the account verification code ".
6. You will now receive a code via email that you can enter in the next step. Click on " Next " and you can set a new password.
