"Verification failed" on iCloud? How to set it

The iCloud service is probably the best service for iOS users, even though it originally only provided 5GB of free storage. This powerful feature allows users to backup and restore a variety of data on iPhone as well as share photos, videos, documents and more between different iDevices. However, one might also encounter issues while using iCloud. Depending on the emails and posts, the iCloud issue may occur when you try to:

1. Manually / automatically backup iPhone / iPad;

2. Log into the iCloud account on another iDevice;

3. Configure “ Family sharing ”;

4. Log in iCloud after changing Apple ID;

5. Recover iCloud backup;

When this happens, there are three warning messages you may encounter:

"Verification failed - Connection to iCloud timed out"

"Verification failed - Unable to connect to the server"

"Verification failed - Request timed out"

Causes: Why can't you sign in to iCloud?

1. The state of the network is poor. Access to the iCloud account requires creating a connection with Apple through the network. Therefore, please connect to good Wi-Fi or use cellular data. Also, do not use mobile internet in large buildings.

2. “ iCloud Backup ” is enabled in the original device. Therefore, if you have already enabled this feature on one device, but try to sign in to iCloud account on another device, it could probably fail..

Method 1: Sign in your Apple ID in iCloud again

The best option to try (although you might already try) is signing in to your Apple ID again. It's a simple and doable trick worth trying..

Step 1. Launch the “ Régalges ” application on iDevice.

Step 2. Tap “ iCloud ” and scroll down to select “ Sign Out ”.

Step 3. Confirm “ Logout ” and tap “ Delete from my iPhone (iPad) ”.

Step 4. Enter the password and press “ Disable ”.

Step 5. Tap “ iCloud ” and enter your Apple ID to sign in.

Method 2: Sign in to iCloud on the web
