Screenshots are a quick and easy way to record information or troubleshoot a problem..

Usually, when it comes to taking a screenshot, there is a series of keystrokes to trigger the action. For Android devices (running 4.0 and above) , the standard key combination presses the volume and power buttons simultaneously. For iOS, it's a combination of the home page and power buttons. In general, Chromebooks, and really ChromeOS, have their own keyboard shortcuts to initiate a screenshot.

To take a standard screenshot of the entire screen: Simultaneously press the Control key (Ctrl) and the switch window key. The (switch window key) has an outline of multiple windows, sitting just above the row of numbers. Placement may vary by device..

A few seconds after using the key combination, you will see a notification informing you that the screenshot was captured successfully. To limit the screenshot to a section of the screen, just add the Shift key to the combination (which makes Control - Shift - Switch Windows Key). The mouse turns into a hug, allowing you to select the area you want to save forever.

Accessing your screenshots can be done in two different ways. You can either click on the notification or open the app launcher and find the icon titled (Files). Your screenshots can be found in the Downloads folder. From there you can upload the file to Google Drive, share it via email, or do all that with screenshots..
