If you want to create an HTML file, you do not necessarily need an HTML editor. You can also simply enter your code in a Word document and save it as an HTML file. Read here what else you can use to create HTML files. You can then upload such an HTML file, for example, to design a website.

Save Word document as HTML file

1st step:

Open Microsoft Word (version doesn't matter) and enter your HTML code in a blank document.

2nd step:

Click on " File ". Then select " Save As ". From Word 2016 you still have to click on " Search ".

3rd step:

A new window will now open. From here, click the drop-down menu and select " Website ". Then click on " Save ". You have now created an HTML file .
