1st step:

Download the free Open Shell program and install it on your computer. To do this, also accept the license conditions.

2nd step:

If you now open the installed Open Shell, you have to choose one of three styles : You can choose between a classic style (each with one or two columns) and a Windows 7 style. If you close the window now , the settings you want will be applied immediately.

3rd step:

For example, your start menu now looks like it did under Windows 7 again.

1. Download and install the free Open Shell program on your Windows system.
2. Then click on the start menu icon in the lower left corner of the system tray. A window opens automatically in which you can define the design of your start menu .
3. If you now close the window , your selection will be applied immediately and the start menu will be displayed in the selected style.
