Many current Samsung devices have an app called "Upday". This actually serves to provide the user with news about current events on a daily basis - which can be quite annoying if you didn't want the app at all. Since it is a pre-installed app on Samsung devices, it cannot be uninstalled without further problems. We'll show you how you can still deactivate the app.

Disable Upday on Android devices

  1. Open the settings on your Samsung device.
  2. Tap on " Apps " in the " Device " section. Then select " Application List ".
  3. Then go to the three dots in the upper right corner and then select " Show system processes ".
  4. A list of all running processes will now appear on your smartphone. Select " Upday ".
  5. Now you can force a stop in the present settings or even deactivate the app entirely . On some more modern devices, you can choose " Uninstall " instead of " Deactivate " . This is how you get rid of the app altogether.
