Or do you just have security concerns? In the following, we will show you how you can protect your Netflix account against misuse with the help of a new password.

How to change your Netflix password

1st step:

Log in to Netflix with your access data and open the menu at the top right by clicking on your profile picture. Now go to " Account ".

2nd step:

Next to the item " Membership and billing " click on the entry " Change password ". You should also go to " Log out of all devices " so that no device remains logged in with the old password.

3rd step:

Now you have to enter your current password and the newly selected password twice. We explain how to choose a secure password here. Here you should make sure to check the box next to “ Force login with the new password on all devices ” so that only you have access to your account. Then go to " Save " and your password will be updated.

1. Log into your Netflix account .
2. Go to the “ Account ” category via your profile icon in the upper right corner .
3. Here click in the “ Membership and Billing ” category on “ Change password ”.
4. Now enter your old password and the new one twice .
5. Then check the box next to " Force login with the new password on all devices ". This ensures that the new password is valid on all devices that were logged into your Netflix account. Finally click on " Save " and the password is updated.
