Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions ..

1st step:

In order to be able to rename several files at the same time, you must first mark all of these files at the same time. There are various ways of doing this: 1 . To mark several files at the same time, you can click on the first file, then hold down [ Shift ] and finally click on the last file. All files in between are automatically marked in this way. The numbering then starts with the file that was marked last. 2. Select multiple files by the [Ctrl] key and hold and click on the files individually. The numbering starts with the file that was marked last . 3. You can also mark several files by dragging a mouse frame (hold down the left mouse button and move over the files). The numbering always starts with the first file , or with the file that you have previously selected with a click (recognizable by a blue frame around the file).

2nd step:

Now press the [F2] key . The name of the file can now be changed while the other files are still selected. Then press [ Enter ]. Note : If the [F2] key has another assignment on your keyboard , press the [Fn] key in addition to these instructions.
