Once you've saved your bookmarks as an HTML file, you can easily import them into Google Chrome. It doesn't matter whether the bookmarks come from Google Chrome or another browser. Here's a guide on how to export bookmarks from Google Chrome.

A plus point of Google Chrome: In contrast to importing bookmarks into Firefox, your current bookmarks are not overwritten. Instead, your imported bookmarks are saved in the Imported folder .

1st step:

Open Google Chrome . Right click on the bookmarks bar. Then select " Bookmark Manager ".

Now click on the three dots on the far right .

Then click on " Import Bookmarks ".

Go to the location of your bookmarks HTML file . Then select the file. Click the " Open " button .

You can find your imported bookmarks directly in the bookmarks bar . You are in the " Imported " folder . You can drag and drop the individual websites and folders from the " Imported " folder and place them on the bookmark bar .

  2. Click on the three dots in the middle right.
  3. Then select " Import Bookmarks ".
  4. A new window is opening up. Navigate to the location of your HTML bookmarks file. Select your file and click " Open ".
  5. You can now find your imported bookmarks directly in the bookmarks bar. There you are in the " Imported " folder .
  6. You can easily move the saved websites and folders from the " Imported " folder to the actual bar by dragging and dropping them .
