Cookies ensure that when shopping online, your shopping cart is saved even after you have left the site or that you do not have to enter a password a second time on a website. However, you can also monitor your surfing behavior. If you do not want to allow this or have worked on a public PC, it makes sense to delete cookies. You can find out how this works in the Firefox browser here.

Clear all Firefox cookies

  1. Open the menu for deleting private data by pressing the key combination [Ctrl] + [Shift] + [Del] . Under macOS it works with [cmd] + [Shift] + [Backspace] . A legend with the key designations can be found here: Windows, Mac.
Note: If you prefer to click your way through with the mouse, go to the library symbol (vertical lines) in the upper right corner , then to " Chronicle " in the menu and finally to " Delete latest chronicle ".
  2. Select " Everything " in the selection list and tick the box next to " Cookies " and all other data that you want to delete. End the process by clicking on " Delete now ".
