Do you no longer want to use the Xing career portal in the future? As a basic member, your profile can be deleted with just a few clicks. We'll show you where to find the setting.

How to delete your Xing profile

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Log in to xing.com with your account details . Then go to the arrow to the right of your profile picture and then to " Settings ".

Next, select the first option, " User Account ".

Scroll down and then click " Delete Profile ".

Xing now offers you some suggested solutions for any problems that may arise. If you would like to delete your account anyway, click on " Next " at the bottom right .

Please read the consequences of the deletion carefully and confirm this at the end by ticking the box . Then click on " Next ".

In order to give Xing feedback on the deletion, you can now optionally enter the reason for the deletion of your account or enter your email address for further queries. If you do not want this, you can leave the fields blank and click on " Next ".

Finally, confirm your identity by entering your password and click on " Permanently delete profile " to finish the process .

Note: Your profile has now been deleted, but posts in forums or groups will still be displayed. You have to have them deleted by members or moderators of the group / forums..

quick start Guide

  1. Log in to xing.com with your account details . Click the arrow next to your profile picture, then click Settings .
  2. Go to the item " User account ".
  3. Then select " Delete profile ".
  4. If you still want to delete your profile despite the suggested Xing solutions , click on " Next ".
  5. Read the consequences of deletion carefully, tick your consent and click on " Next ".
  6. Optionally, you can also state the reason for the deletion and your email address. Finally click on " Next ".
  7. Enter your password and confirm by clicking on " Permanently delete profile ".
