Have you forgotten the password for your GMX account? We will show you how you can access your account again..

A forgotten password can always be annoying - especially if it is the password for your own e-mail account. In this article, we are going to show you how to recover a forgotten GMX password.

Reset GMX password

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Visit the GMX website . Click on " Forgot your password? " Where you normally log in .

2nd step:

In the next step you have to enter your e-mail address or your customer number for which you forgot the password . A security question follows below . Fill this out as well and then click on " Next ".

3rd step:

Now you can choose how you want to get your password. If you have saved an email contact address, a link to reset your password will be sent to this address. You can do this by simply clicking on " Send ". If you have set your browser to save passwords automatically, you can download instructions on how to request passwords from the browser as a PDF. If nothing else helps, you have to click " None of the options is an option for me! ". You will then be given options for contacting GMX customer service, such as a telephone number. But watch out: password recovery via customer service is chargeable.

1. Visit the GMX website. Below the area in which you normally enter your password, you will find the " Forgot your password ? " Field . Click on it.
2. On the next page you have to enter your email address or your customer number . You also have to fill out a security question . When you have done this, click " Next ".
3. Now you have the choice: If you have saved an e-mail contact address, you can have an activation link for a new password sent to this by clicking on " Send ". Alternatively, instructions provided by GMX will help you to read out passwords saved in the browser.
4. If none of the options are suitable for you, you can also use the corresponding button to contact GMX customer service by telephone for a fee.
