1st step:

With Internet Explorer open, click the gear icon in the upper right corner . Then select " Internet Options ".

2nd step:

A new window will now open. In the " General " tab, you can click on " Delete ... " relatively far down under " Browsing history " . You also have the option of checking " Delete browsing history on exit ". This will automatically delete your browser history when you close it.

3rd step:

Clicking on " Delete ... " opens a new window. Here you have the choice which parts of the browser history you want to delete: This can be the history of the visited pages themselves, or cookies and website data. Check the desired items and then click on " Delete " at the bottom right. You have now successfully deleted your browser history in Internet Explorer.
