Outlook is no longer receiving emails? Then you may have activated offline mode. We'll show you how to turn off offline mode..
The offline mode of Microsoft Outlook prevents e-mails from being sent and received. It is particularly useful if you want to process e-mails when there is no internet connection without being disturbed by constant error messages. If suddenly you can no longer send and receive emails with Outlook, you may have accidentally activated offline mode. In the following, we will explain how to recognize whether offline mode is activated and how to deactivate or reactivate it.
If the offline mode of Outlook is activated, you will see this in the lower right corner of the Outlook program. There it says " offline mode " in small letters . If it says " Connected " instead , Outlook is online.
To activate or deactivate the offline mode, first click on the " Send / Receive " tab . This opens a new menu bar. Click here on the " Work offline " button to switch the offline mode on or off..
