At the end of February 2018, there was a real hype about the Vero app. The app is a mixture of Instagram and Facebook and, unlike the established social networks, works without advertising and algorithms. You have also downloaded Vero for this reason, but now want to get rid of the app? We'll show you how to delete your Vero account.

How to delete your Vero account

Note: At first it was said that a Vero account could only really be deleted upon request by email. In the meantime, however, there is a button in the settings that makes deleting much more convenient:

1st step:

Open Vero and tap on the profile icon in the menu bar at the top .

2nd step:

Now tap on " Settings " in the lower right corner of your profile page .

3rd step:

At the top, go to your username .

4th step:

Then scroll all the way down in the settings and tap on " Delete account ".

5th step:

A window now appears in which you have to confirm again with " Yes " that you really want to delete your Vero account.

6th step:

After that, another window will appear informing you that it may take up to 24 hours to deactivate your account. If you tap on " OK ", you will be automatically logged out of the app and will then not be able to log in again .

1. Open the Vero app and tap the profile icon at the top .
2. Now go to " Settings " at the bottom right .
3. At the top, tap your username .
4. Now scroll all the way down and tap on " Delete Account ". Confirm your decision again with " Yes ". According to Vero, deactivating the account can now take up to 24 hours.
