In Windows 10, you can make some settings for the taskbar. We explain here how to customize the bar..

The taskbar in Windows 10 is a multi-function tool. You can pin your most-used apps to it, move them around, and even customize how they are displayed. You can also display your appointments directly on the taskbar and change and manage them.

Pin an app

1st step:

Click the Windows icon in the lower left and select an app that you want to have on your system tray.

2nd step:

Make a right click on it and select " More " and select " Pin to Taskbar ". You can move the button on the task bar by dragging them down hold and drag .

3rd step:

To remove the app icon from the system tray, right-click on it and then click on " Remove from system tray ".

Group app buttons

1st step:

Right-click an empty space on the taskbar and then select " Taskbar Settings ".

2nd step:

Scroll down to " Group the taskbar buttons " and select an option: Always, hide labels : Each app is displayed as a blank button. When the taskbar is full : Apps are displayed as a labeled button. If the taskbar is full, apps with several open windows are grouped together. Never : Apps appear as a labeled button and windows are never grouped. If the taskbar becomes too full, the buttons become smaller.

Icons in the notification area

1st step:

Right-click an empty space on the taskbar and then select " Taskbar Settings ".

2nd step:

Now scroll down a little to the " Notification area " category and click on " Select icons to be displayed on the taskbar ".

3rd step:

You can now choose which icons you would like to display in the notification area . If you deactivate a switch, the symbol is moved to the overflow area , which you can display with the up arrow on the taskbar.

Quick start guide: Pin apps

1. Click the Windows icon and select an app that you want to have on the system tray.
2. Make a right click on it and select " More " and " Pin to Taskbar ". You can use the button on the taskbar shift by moving them hold and drag .
3. To remove the icon from the system tray, right-click on it and click on " Remove from system tray ".

1. Make a right click on a blank area of the taskbar and select " Task bar settings ."
2. Scroll down to the " Notification Area " and click " Select icons to display on the taskbar ".
3. Here you can choose which icons you would like to display in the notification area . If you deactivate a switch, the symbol is moved to the overflow area . You can display this with the arrow pointing upwards on the taskbar.
