Here the creation of an Excel table is explained using the example of different types of fruit in different quantities.

1st step:

Enter your data in the Excel document. You can also give your dataset column headings if you want . Simply write the column name in the top cell of the respective column. When you are done, mark your data set.

Now click on the " Start " tab in the menu bar . Then select " Format as Table ". Here you still have to choose a format template. In the example, the format template Hell 8 is used.

You will now see the dimensions of your table again. If you had not selected the table in the first step, you could now have entered the relevant lines. But you have saved yourself a step. If you gave your data record headings in the first step, leave the checkmark next to " Table has headings ". Otherwise remove it. When done, click OK .

4th step:

You have now successfully created your table. You can see that your previously entered headings are now also identified as such.

quick start Guide

  1. Enter your dates in Excel and highlight them.
  2. Click on the " Start " tab and select " Format as table ". Then decide on a style that suits you for your table.
  3. Now you have to confirm the row and column values ​​of the table again. If you have headings in your table, leave the checkmark next to " Table has headings ". Otherwise take it out.
