Windows 10's tablet mode makes it easier to use a computer through touch input. The apps are no longer displayed as small icons and shortcuts, as on the normal desktop, but rather in tiles, similar to those in Windows 8. Tablet mode is available on all Windows 10 computers by default, but of course it can only activated if your computer has some type of touch input.
The actual activation of the tablet mode is very simple: Click on the speech bubble symbol , i.e. the notification icon, in the system tray at the bottom right . Then select the " Tablet mode " tile . Tablet mode is now switched on. You can also switch the mode off again directly by tapping this icon again. If the display is grayed out (as shown below), your PC is not recognized by Windows as being tablet-compatible. This means that it is not possible to switch to tablet mode.
