How to hide folders on your Android smartphone

1st step:

Go to the file directory on your smartphone by opening the " My Documents " application .

2nd step:

Then tap your way through to the folder you want to hide . Press and hold on it until you have the option to select Folders.

3rd step:

Then go to the three dots in the top right corner and then select " Rename ".

4th step:

Put in front of the name of the folder just one point , that " .Ordnername ". Tap " Rename " to save the change.

5th step:

All the files in the folder still exist on your Android smartphone, but are hidden and should no longer be displayed in the gallery and the video player. In order to still be able to see and manage the folder in the file manager , you must first make a small change in the manager's settings . To do this, tap on the three dots in the top right corner and select " Settings ".

6th step:

Now activate the switch for " Show hidden files ". You can now see the previously hidden folder with all its files in the file directory and edit it.

1. Open the My Documents application .
2. Tap to the folder by that you want to hide and press a little longer on it until you can select folders.
