Unfortunately, there is no hyphenation feature in Microsoft PowerPoint. Because presentations that are created in PowerPoint should actually be designed in short and concise bullet points. Therefore, such a feature would be superfluous. But if you do have a longer text in your presentation in which the syllables should be separated, we will explain how you can do it anyway.

How to split syllables in PowerPoint

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Open your PowerPoint presentation and highlight and copy the text where you want to split the syllables.

Now open a new Word document and add your text there a .

Now activate the hyphenation by switching to the " Layout " tab and clicking on " Hyphenation ". Then select " Automatic ".
