The so-called main board - also called motherboard or mainboard - is the central circuit board of your PC with a wide variety of hardware connections. If you need spare parts or additional modules, you should know which mainboard you have installed. In contrast to the hard disk or the graphics card, however, you will not find information about your motherboard in the device manager.
