You will now see a list of the standard search engines . To set up another, click " Add ".

Enter the name and the search code of the search engine. As shown in the screenshot here, add the abbreviation " % s " after the URL of the search query . This will start the search right away when you type something in the search bar. The new search engine will now appear under " Other Search Engines ". Click on the three dots to the right of the entry and select " Set as default ".

Your search engine should now be listed in the standard search engines. Click on the arrow next to " Manage search engine " to return to the settings .

The new search engine is now set as the default. If you click on the arrow next to it, it will also appear in the list with the other search engines. You do n't have to close or save your browser for the change to take effect .

  3. You can find your currently set search engine under " Search engine ". Click the arrow to choose a different search engine.
