Forgot your password for the Google Play Store? We'll tell you what to do in this case..

When setting up an Android device, sign in with your Google account. All Google services, such as the Store or Maps, then run through your account. If you forget your Google Account password, you may no longer be able to download or update apps and games. We explain how to reset your password.

How to reset your Google password

1st step:

Open the Google login page and enter the email address you use for your Google account . Then tap on " Next ".

2nd step:

Then press the " Forgot your password? " Button .

3rd step:

You will then need to confirm your identity. To do this, enter the recovery e-mail address you have saved , to which you will be sent a six-digit confirmation code. If you have not saved an e-mail, you can select a different recovery method with the " Select other option " button .

4th step:

Then enter the code that was sent to you and tap " Next ". Now create a new password . To do this, read our guide on creating a secure password . Confirm your new password with the " Change password " button .
