If you have changed the password of your e-mail account, you will also have to adjust the password in Outlook. We'll show you how to do it..

It is recommended to change all passwords at regular intervals. You should do the same with your email account. In order for all e-mails to continue to be synchronized with Outlook afterwards, you must then change the password in Outlook as well. We'll explain step by step how it works.

How to change your Outlook password

1st step:

In Outlook, click on the " File " tab in the upper left corner .

2nd step:

You are automatically in the " Information " area. Here click on " Account Settings ". A new menu will open. Here click again on " Account Settings ".

3rd step:

The account settings will now open. Select the email account whose password you want to change. Then click on " Repair ".

4th step:

A new window is opening up. You can enter the password here. Put the check mark in front of " Save this password in the password list " so that you do not have to enter the password every time you start Outlook. Finally click on " OK ".

2. Select the appropriate email account and click " Repair ".
