How to delete the Gmail account and keep the Google account

It is possible to just delete the Gmail account and continue using the Google account. So if you want to continue using your Google account in the future, but want to delete your Gmail account, read our step-by-step guide or quick guide . Note: If you delete the Gmail address but want to keep the account, you'll need to set up an alternate email address with Google. This is always necessary for logging in to Google so that you can be clearly identified..

1st step:

Go to the google.com services page . Confirm your identity and click " Next ".

2nd step:

Go to the trash can icon to delete the Gmail service.

3rd step:

If you have not yet set up an alternative email address , Google will ask you at this point which address you want to continue to use Google with. Enter your email address and click " Send Confirmation Email ".

Note : This cannot be a Gmail address.

4th step:

After you have confirmed the e-mail address or have already set up an alternative e-mail address, Google will now ask you which e-mail address you want to use to register. Choose one and click " Next ". This step takes you directly through the confirmation link that was sent to the alternative e-mail address. Alternatively, you have to click on the trash can icon again.

5th step:

Google will now give you some information on how to delete Gmail. Read it through, then check the box next to " Yes, I want to ... permanently delete it from my Google Account ." and click " Remove Gmail ".

Log into Gmail and click on your profile picture in the top right corner . Then go to the " Google Account " button .

2nd step:

Now go to " Data & Personalization " on the left . Scroll down and then click " Delete Service or Account ".

3rd step:

Then click on " Delete my account ".

4th step:

You now have to enter your password . Confirm by clicking on the " Next " button .

5th step:

Finally, you will be shown which content will be deleted. Put the two ticks at the bottom and finally click on " Delete account ".
