Press the key combination [Windows] + [R] and enter optional features in the new window . Confirm with " OK ".

The option " Activate or deactivate Windows features " opens . Find Internet Explorer in the list of Windows features and remove the check mark . Confirm with " OK ".

You will receive a warning that programs and settings will be affected by deactivating the browser. However, there is nothing to worry about . Confirm with " Yes ".

You will then be asked to restart your PC for the changes to take effect. After restarting, Internet Explorer should be gone. If you would like to use the browser again, simply tick the box again and restart your PC.
