Volatile data is stored in the main memory, also known as RAM (Random Access Memory). If the main memory is full, data that is no longer required is automatically deleted. A full working memory is therefore not a problem at first. However, if you find that your device is working disproportionately slow, an app no ​​longer works smoothly or even keeps crashing, you should manually check the memory of individual apps and empty them if necessary. 1st step:

Open the settings of your Android device and swipe down to the menu item " Apps ".

An overview of all saved apps on your device opens. Tap on the app whose memory consumption you want to control and optimize.

Tap on " Memory " for more details about the memory usage of the app.
