You can view and remove saved passwords in Google Chrome at any time. We explain exactly how here..

The Google Chrome browser allows you to save your passwords. You will then be automatically logged in to some websites as soon as you visit them. This is to make it easier for you to surf the Internet. If you want to see your previously saved passwords, all you have to do is follow our instructions.

View passwords in Chrome

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Use the three dots in the top right to open the browser settings . Alternatively, you can also enter the command chrome: // settings / passwords in the search bar and confirm with [ Enter ]. In that case, go to step 3.

2nd step:

Then click on " Passwords ". On the next page you can now see which websites have saved passwords.

3rd step:

If you would like to view a password for a certain website, click on the eye symbol on the right in the line .

4th step:

You will then be asked to enter your Windows password . After confirming with " OK " you will now see the password.

By clicking on the three dots next to the password, you can view details of the respective password and also remove it .

quick start Guide

  1. Open the browser settings via the three dots at the top right. Alternatively, you can also enter chrome: // settings / passwords in the search bar. In that case, go to step 3.
  2. Now click on " Passwords ". You can then see for which websites passwords are saved.
  3. If you would like to see a specific password , click on the eye .
  4. You will then need to enter your Windows password .
  5. With a click on the three points you can remove the password or view details about it.
