Do you want to forward a call from your Android device to another cell phone or phone? We'll show you how..

Missing an important call is always annoying. You can therefore set up call diversion on your Android smartphone. A call is automatically forwarded to another telephone number under certain conditions.

Forward calls on Android

Follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the brief instructions .

1st step:

Open your phone's phone app . Then tap the three dots in the top right to open the menu.

2nd step:

Select the " Settings " option .

3rd step:

If you can insert several SIM cards into your smartphone, you must now tap on " Calling accounts ". If this is not the case, it simply says " Call ".

4th step:

If you have inserted several SIM cards, you now have to select the correct one by tapping on it .

5th step

Press " Call forwarding " to access the options for it. Loading may take a moment.

6th step:

After a little waiting time, you will now be shown the various conditions for call forwarding. You can choose between " Always forward ", " If busy ", " If no answer " and " If not available ". If you have set up a mailbox, this will be displayed automatically in some options. Tap the option of your choice to edit it.

7th step:

When editing, the option looks something like this. In the example " If no answer ", the number of the mobile box was automatically stored. You can change this manually. Then tap on " Update ". If you want to switch this type of call forwarding off, tap on " Deactivate ".

1. Open the phone app and tap the three dots in the top right corner .
2. Select " Settings ".
3. Tap Calling Accounts, then tap your SIM card if your device can manage multiple SIM cards. Alternatively, just tap on " Call ".
4. Press " Call Forwarding ". Here you can change the conditions for automatic forwarding after a short waiting period. To do this, tap on the respective option and change it according to your wishes.
