1. First download the Anti-Twin program and open it.
2. Under Base folder , enter the folder in which you want to search for duplicates. You can specify this on the right-hand side under " Select folder ". If necessary, you can also define a second folder underneath .
3. Next, you can specify whether you want to " compare all files ", " only compare files from different folders " or even " find a specific file ". The latter is particularly helpful if you already know which file could possibly be duplicated on your computer.
4. Now all you have to do is decide which method to use. You can compare the names of files or compare the contents (or both). When comparing the contents, you also have the choice whether Anti-Twin compares the two data byte for byte, or whether the images are to be compared pixel by pixel. 6. At the end you will be given a list of duplicate files. You can choose which files to keep and which to delete. To delete all you have to do is mark the files and click on " delete selected files ". Now you have successfully deleted duplicate files and freed up space on your computer.
