In Windows 10, you can take notes on the desktop. We explain how it's done and what the "Sticky Notes" desktop app can do..

Windows 10 offers the option of using the "Brief Notes" or "Sticky Notes" app to create desktop notes to encourage productive work. You can use it to write shopping lists, for example, or simply jot down ideas quickly before you forget them. How to open the notes and how to edit them is explained in our article.

How to use sticky notes

1st step:

Open the Start menu and search for " Sticky Notes ". Then click on the program to open it

2nd step:

A note will now open on which you can write. You can open a new note by clicking on the plus in the top left . Alternatively, the key combination [Ctrl] + [N] also works . You can use the symbols below to format your notes - whether bold, italic, underlined, crossed out or as a list.

4th step:

You can change the color of your note using the three dots at the top right . You can also remove the note using " Delete Note ".
