1st step:

On the Spotify homepage, click " Reset Password ". Alternatively, you can also click on the following link to go directly to the "Reset password" page : https://www.spotify.com/de/password-reset/

2nd step:

You will now see this page in the browser. Enter your email address or username with which you are logged in to Spotify. After a short time you will receive an email with a link .

3rd step:

This text should appear in the Spotify email. Click on " Reset Password ".

4th step:

You will automatically be redirected to a new browser window. Now enter a new password here and click on the box next to " I'm not a robot. " Finally confirm with " Send ".

5th step:

Your password is now updated and you are logged into your Spotify account again. Now use Spotify as usual and enjoy your music.

1st step:

Open Spotify on your smartphone and tap " Sign In ".

2nd step:

Since you no longer know your password, tap on "Having trouble signing in? ".

3rd step:

You will now be asked to enter your email address or your username . Then tap on " Send Email ".

4th step:

Now look in your inbox for an email from Spotify. If you cannot find it in the inbox, please also look in the spam folder . The content of the email should look like our screenshot. Tap on " Set new password ".

5th step:

The link in the e-Mai l guides you back to Spotify app. Now enter a new password and tap on " Change password " to confirm . You are now logged in again and can use Spotify as usual.

4. Enter a new password , check the " I'm not a robot " box, and then click " Submit ". You are now automatically logged in and can use Spotify with the new password.
