You have probably seen the "Safely Remove Hardware" module while using Windows 10. All communication with a USB stick or hard disk is safely terminated so that the device can be removed. If you pull out a USB device abruptly, it may be damaged or the data on it may be lost. Most of the time nothing happens, but you should be on the safe side.

Remove hardware in Explorer

Hardware can easily be ejected in Explorer so that you can safely remove it:

1st step:

In Explorer, right click on the hardware name in the list on the left. Then select the " Eject " entry .
