Do you no longer want to use your Pinterest account? Then you can easily delete it..

If you no longer want to populate pin boards on Pinterest or if you want to click through the countless images and inspirations, you can easily delete your account there. In the following we explain how this works.

How to delete your Pinterest account

1st step:

Open Pinterest in your browser and log in with your details. Then click the down arrow in the upper right corner, then select Settings .

2nd step:

Now go to the " Account Settings " category on the left and then click on " Delete Account ".

3rd step:

Now select a reason for deleting your account and then click on " Next ".

4th step:

Then go to " Send E-Mail ".

5th step:

You will now receive an email from Pinterest. Open it and click on the button " Yes, delete account ". Your account will then be deleted within 14 days.

Smartphone app

Open the Pinterest app on your smartphone and tap on your profile picture on the right below .

2nd step:

Then tap the gear icon in the top right to open the settings.

3rd step:

Now select " Account Settings ".

4th step:

Then tap on the entry " Delete account ".

5th step:

Now tap again on " Delete account ". You will then be sent a confirmation email.

6th step:

Open the email and tap on the button " Yes, delete account ". Your Pinterest account will then be permanently deleted within 14 days.

1. Open Pinterest in your browser and sign in there. Click the down arrow in the upper right corner and select Settings .
2. In the " Account Settings " category, click on " Delete Account ".
3. Now select a reason and then click " Next ".
4. Then click on the " Send email " button .
5. Now open the email from Pinterest and click on the button " Yes, delete account ". Your account will be deleted within 14 days.

Quick guide: App

1. Open Pinterest on your smartphone, tap on your profile picture at the bottom right and then on the gear icon in the top right.
2. Now select " Account settings from" and then tap on the " Delete Account ".
3. Now tap again on " Delete account ".
4. Open the e-mail that was sent to you and tap on the " Yes, delete account " button . Your Pinterest account will then be deleted within the next 14 days.
