Read receipt for a single mail

If you only want to activate the read receipt once, then navigate to " Options " in the menu when composing an e-mail . Here click on " Request confirmation of receipt (MDN) ". This e-mail will now be sent with the required read confirmation.

You can use the menu to request a one-time confirmation of receipt when composing an e-mail.

1st step:

Open Thunderbird and click the three-line menu in the upper right corner . Then select " Settings ".

2nd step:

Now navigate to the " Advanced " category at the top and then select the " General " tab . There you click on the " Confirmation of receipt ... " button on the right .

3rd step:

Now check the box next to " Always request a confirmation of receipt " and change the other settings if you wish. Then click OK .

4th step:

If you now send an e-mail, the recipient will be asked to send you a confirmation of receipt .
