The abbreviation HDR stands for High Dynamic Range and describes a very high-contrast image on which both the light and the dark areas can be seen very well. Especially with landscape photography, it is helpful to take photos in HDR mode, because there is a strong contrast between the light sky and the dark landscape. How to enable HDR mode on your smartphone

1st step:

Open the camera app on your smartphone.

There, tap on the gear symbol in the top left to open the settings for the camera.

Now scroll down to " HDR " and tap on it.

Activate the switch and then choose whether photos should " always " be taken with HDR, or only " when necessary ", i.e. when the exposure requires it.

iPhone

Open the settings of your iPhone and tap on " Camera ".

Now activate the option " Intelligent HDR ". If you also want to save the original exposed image in addition to the HDR photo, activate the option " Keep normal photo ".
