Note: You cannot change your Facebook name as often as you like, only every 60 days.

1st step:

Open Facebook in a browser of your choice and log in with your associated account details. Then click on the downward pointing arrow in the upper right corner and select " Settings " from the menu (in the new Facebook design, select " Settings and privacy " beforehand ).

2nd step:

Now click on " Edit " next to " Name ".

3rd step:

Now enter your desired name. Then click on " Review Change ".

4th step:

Then choose how you want your name to appear on your profile. Then enter your password to confirm and then click on " Save changes ".

1st step:

Open the Facebook app on your smartphone and tap on the burger menu in the upper right corner (lower right on the iPhone). Then tap on the " Settings " entry under the " Settings and privacy " category .

2nd step:

Now select the menu item " Personal Information " under " Account Settings " .

3rd step:

Then tap on " Name ".

4th step:

Now enter your name in the text fields provided and then tap on " Check changes ".

5th step:

You can then choose how you want your name to appear on your Facebook profile. If you are satisfied, enter your password to confirm and then tap on " Save changes ".

4. Then enter your password and click " Save changes ".
