How to confirm your age on Amazon Prime Video so that you can also watch age-restricted films in the future..

Suddenly Amazon asks you for a PIN, even though the film was supposed to start? This happens if you have not yet confirmed that you are of legal age. For films with an age rating of FSK 18, a PIN is asked for each time they are played. You can set this after Amazon has checked that you are of legal age. We show you how to do this in our instructions or in the video.

Confirm you are of legal age

  1. Have your ID card or international passport ready.
  2. Open the Legal Age Verification Page .
  3. You will be asked for your ID card number (or passport number), which is located on the top right of the ID card .
  4. In the next step you will be asked for your account number or your credit card number . This step also only serves to confirm your age and there are no costs .
  5. You are now of legal age and you will be asked to enter a four-digit PIN . After this they are with each film before age restriction of FSK 18 asked.
