You can easily transfer money from your PayPal account to your bank account. How exactly, we explain here..

PayPal has become an integral part of everyday life. The "Send Money" function in particular is very practical and enables you to transfer money quickly - for example between friends and family members. When you receive money, it ends up as a credit in your PayPal account. There you can either use it for a next payment or transfer it to your bank account. How this works in the PayPal app and in the browser is explained below .

How to transfer money from your PayPal account to your bank account

1st step:

Open the PayPal app on your smartphone and tap on the balance .

2nd step:

Now tap on " Withdraw money " at the bottom . You will then have to enter your mobile phone code or your iPhone will automatically unlock via Face ID in the next step .

3rd step:

Now select the linked bank account to which the PayPal credit should be transferred. You can also decide here whether the credit will be posted to your account immediately (1% fee) or in 1 to 2 days (free of charge). Then tap on " Next ".

4th step:

Now use the number field to specify how much of your credit you want to transfer. You can specify the amount down to the cent. Tap Next again .

5th step:

Here you can see again an overview of which amount is now being debited to which account. If all the details are correct, then tap on " Withdraw XXX EUR " below .

1st step:

Log in to paypal.com with your access data and go to your account overview. Here click under your balance on " Deposit or withdraw money ".

2nd step:

Go to " Withdraw money " up here.

3rd step:

Now select your linked bank account and decide whether the money should be transferred there immediately (1% fee) or, by default, in 1 to 2 days (free of charge). Then click " Next " below .

4th step:

Now use your keyboard to enter the amount that you want to transfer to your bank account. This is accurate to the penny. Then click on " Next " again.

5th step:

Now check all the details again and then complete the process with " Debit XXX EUR ".

Quick guide: App

1. Open PayPal on your smartphone and tap on the balance on the home page .
2. At the bottom, tap " Withdraw funds ". Then enter your mobile code / Face ID .
3. Select the linked bank account you want the funds to be sent to and tap Next .
4. Now decide how much of the credit you want to transfer and tap on " Next " again.
5. About " XXX EUR withdraw " to conclude the process.

1. Log in to paypal.com and go to " Deposit or withdraw money " on the home page of your account .
2. Then click on " Withdraw funds ".
3. Now select your linked bank account and click on " Next ".
4. Choose how much credit you want to transfer and click Next again .
5. Complete the process by clicking on " Withdraw XXX EUR ".
