1st step

Open Thunderbird and click on the three bars in the top right.

This opens a menu in which you click on " Settings ".

Click on " Settings " again.

Switch to the " Security " area in the sidebar and then to the " Passwords " tab . Then click on " Saved Passwords ... ".

All accounts saved in Thunderbird will now be displayed. Click on " View Passwords " below .

For your security you have to confirm the entry with " Yes ". You will now see your passwords in the list next to the user names.

  1. In Thunderbird, click the burger menu .
  2. Then go to " Settings " and then to " Settings " again.
  3. Now click on " Security "> " Passwords " and then on " Saved Passwords ... ".
  4. Go to " Show passwords " and confirm your entry with " Yes ".
