This post shows you how to remove Microsoft Teams from your PC..

If you no longer want to use Microsoft Teams, you should delete it from your PC to free up storage space and to speed up the start-up of the computer. Our article tells you how to uninstall the software from your Windows computer.

Uninstall Microsoft Teams on Windows 10

To uninstall the Microsoft Teams software, follow our step-by-step instructions or take a look at the quick start guide .

1st step:

If you have Microsoft Teams open, close it. Then open the Windows settings with the key combination [Windows] + [I] or via the gear symbol in the start menu.

2nd step:

Go to " Apps " in the settings .

3rd step:

Select " Apps & Features " from the menu on the left . You can use the search field to search directly for " Microsoft Teams ". Click the appropriate entry in the list and then click " Uninstall " twice .

4th step:

Confirm with " Yes " that the app can make changes to your PC.

5th step:

Then the " Teams Machine-Wide Installer " has to be deleted. Find it in the same list and click " Uninstall " twice here too .

6th step:

Confirm the deinstallation again with " Yes ". Microsoft Teams should be completely gone from your PC.

1. First, close Microsoft Teams. Press [Windows] + [I] or go to the settings via the gear symbol in the Windows start menu .
2. Click on " Apps " there.
3. Then select " Apps & Features " and search for " Microsoft Teams " in the list . Click on it and then click on " Uninstall " twice .
4. Confirm the question on your PC with " Yes ".
5. Then look for the " Teams Machine-Wide Installer " and " Uninstall " it too.
6. Finally confirm the deinstallation with " Yes ".
