Old design: Here's how to invite all your Facebook friends at the same time

1st step:

Open Facebook through your browser. Log into your Facebook account and click on " Events " in the menu on the left .

2nd step:

Go to " Create event " in the left column and select " Create private event ". If you want to create an event that people outside of your circle of friends can also attend, select " Create a public event ".

3rd step:

A new window opens in which you have to enter the data for the event. You can not only specify the location and time here , but also add a picture and a description , for example . Then click on " Create private event ". Creating a public event looks similar. Keywords can also be set and postings approved.

4th step:

You can now click on the " Invite " button under the title of your event . At a public event, click Share . The next steps are identical to those of a private event.

5th step:

Click on " All Friends " in the menu on the left and on " Select All " in the top right corner . Then go to " Send invitations ". Note: You can invite a maximum of 500 people to private events .

Open Facebook in the browser and sign in. Click Events on the left .

2nd step:

On this page you can see current events and, in the left-hand bar, events in which you are participating. To create your own event, click on " Create new event " on the left .

3rd step:

Now you can choose whether you want to create an online or a face-to-face event . Click the appropriate button. In our example, we are creating a face-to-face event.

4th step:

Now you can make various settings for your event in the left column . On the right you can see the event in the preview. You can give it a name and set a date and time for it. In addition, under " Privacy " you can set who can see and participate in your event - you have four options for this: " Private " (only invited people), " Public " (everyone on and outside of Facebook), " Friends " (yours Facebook friends) and " group "(the members of one of your groups). To invite all your Facebook friends, select" Friends ". If you are satisfied with the settings, click" Next "to go to the next page.

Then set the location for your event and click " Next ".

6th step:

Next you can give a description of what your event is about. Then click on " Next ".
