If the Google search bar on your Android device's home screen annoys you, here's how to get rid of it..

Google is a key component of Android smartphones and it is impossible to imagine life without it. Therefore, the Google search bar is also integrated on the start screen by default. You can easily remove these to adapt the homescreen to your needs. And if that's not enough for you, you can also disable the Google app so that Google search doesn't get in your way while you're using your smartphone's standard search.

Remove the Google search bar from the home screen

1st step:

Press and hold the search bar on your home screen and wait for the menu to appear.

2nd step:

Launchers are one of the best options for customizing Android. The Google search bar can also be easily removed using alternative launchers. These instructions are particularly useful for newer Android versions, where the search bar in Stock Android can no longer be removed. We chose Lawnchair - but other launchers work similarly. First, install Lawnchair 2 from the Google Play Store .

2nd step:

Open the launcher, which will now replace your default launcher. Open the app drawer by swiping up from the bottom.

3rd step:

Now open the " Lawnchair settings " app .

4th step:

Now select " Dock " in the settings .

5th step:

Next, turn off the slider next to " Show Search Bar ".

6th step:

Now go back to the home screen to check that the Google search bar has been removed. Now set up the launcher to your liking.
