Would you like to delete an unpleasant profile photo on Facebook? In our instructions we explain exactly how to do this..

You can use a profile picture to personalize your Facebook profile and enable friends to recognize you more quickly. But if your profile picture is out of date or you just don't like it anymore, you can easily remove it. We'll show you how to do it with just a few clicks.

1st step:

Log in to Facebook with your login details. Now click on your profile picture above to go to your Facebook profile . Now click on " Photos ".

2nd step:

Select the relevant profile picture from your photos and click on the edit button in the form of a pen at the top right. Then select the entry " Delete this photo " (" Delete photo " in the new Facebook design). Confirm the following dialog to permanently remove the picture.

1st step:

Open the Facebook app on your smartphone and tap on your profile picture next to the status message to go to your profile.

2nd step:

Now scroll down a bit and tap on " Photos ". Go to Albums at the top and open the Profile Pictures album .

3rd step:

Now select your current profile picture and tap on the three-dot menu in the upper right corner . Select the " Delete photo " entry from the list and then confirm the following dialog to permanently remove the picture.

1. Open the app on your smartphone and go to your profile by tapping your profile picture at the top .
2. Scroll down and tap on Photos . Go to Albums , then open Profile Pictures .
3. Select your profile photo and open the three-dot menu at the top right. Then select " Delete Photo ".
