What is Webex Meetings?

Cisco Webex Meetings offers companies a powerful video conferencing platform that is easy to use and packed with features. It is best for large companies that need a comprehensive video conferencing solution. However, it is also one of the most expensive video conferencing platforms on the market.

Webex Meetings is Cisco's Webex tool that can be used to start meetings online. You can use this application to hold audio and video conferences, share your screen, or communicate using instant messaging. All you need to get started is a computer or smartphone with internet access. The Webex Session Center works from within your web browser. There is nothing to download or install.

• Call-me : Have your meeting call you. Just enter your phone number or preferred video device when the meeting starts and the meeting will call you - no dialing, no passwords.
• Recording, editing and playback of meetings : Create encrypted and password-protected recordings of your meetings in a secure manner for future reference, training or demonstrations. Play meetings on mobile devices too.
• Background Noise Detection : Cisco Webex detects background noise such as typing, knocking, sirens and dog barking and prompts the participant to mute the microphone.
• Security : End-to-end encryption for a Webex user is enabled by default. User data remains private and in no way accessible to third parties. Webex offers secure password access by default. By default, every user in a Webex room is assigned a secure meeting ID.
