The so-called auto-brightness adjusts the brightness of your iPhone screen to your surroundings. Sometimes the automatic brightness settings just don't work. The auto-brightness can of course be deactivated, but with iOS 14 this function is in a new location. In the following we explain how to turn off the auto-brightness on your iPhone:

Open the settings of your iPhone via the gear symbol.

Go to the menu item " Accessibility ".

Then tap on the entry " Display & text size ".

Finally, all you have to do is toggle the switch to the right of "Auto-Brightness" to Off (from green to gray) and your iPhone will no longer automatically change the brightness of the screen.
